Event: Luncheon and Clean Energy Discussion in Raleigh, NC

Join Mothers & Other for Clean Air, Moms Clean Air Force, and NC Interfaith Power & Light for a luncheon and discussion on the health benefits of clean renewable energy. This free event will be held on on Thursday, April 7, 2016 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences, 4th floor (11 W. Jones St, Raleigh, NC 27601).

Panelists:
Dr. Katharine Hayhoe is a world-renowned climate scientist and educator with a deep faith in God. In 2014, she was recognized by Time Magazine as one of the top 100 most influential people in the world and by Foreign Policy as one of the top 100 global thinkers.

Greg Fishel, Chief Meteorologist WRAL TV, 2015 documentary series “Exploring Climate Change” was awarded first place by the Radio Television Digital News Association of the Carolinas/Associated Press. He received the Emmy from Midsouth Region of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences for hurricane special in 2000.

Dr. Jennifer Caicedo, MD (pictured)  works at Allergy,  Asthma & Immunology Relief and is committed to providing excellent, allergy and immunology care for infants, children, adolescents and adults. She participates in pediatric resident education, speaks throughout the local and state medical communities on allergy and asthma-related topics.

Moderator:
Dominique Browning is the co-founder and Senior Director of Moms Clean Air Force. She blogs at Slow Love Life, writes regularly for the New York Times and TIME.com, and contributes to W, Wired, Whole Living, and Good Housekeeping. She has been an editor at Esquire, Texas Monthly, Newsweek, and House & Garden. She is the author of several books; the most recent is a children’s book Every Breath We Take: A Book About Air.
