Action Alert: Tell EPA to Clean Up Power Plant Pollution

Action Alert: Tell EPA to Clean Up Power Plant Pollution

It’s not too late to show your support for the Clean Power Plan!

Written comments are being accepted until December 1, 2014.

The Clean Power Plan will put limits on carbon emissions from existing power plants. Cleaning up carbon pollution will also reduce other hazardous power plant pollutants that cause asthma attacks, heart attacks, lung cancer, developmental harm and premature death.

Every $1 invested in cleaning up carbon pollution is expected to provide up to $7 in health and economic benefits.

To ensure that strong standards are adopted, EPA needs to hear public support for them now. Here’s how to show your support for clean, healthy air:

  • Follow Mothers & Others on Twitter and Facebook and share our messages with your networks.

Please take moment to submit your comments now urging EPA to set strong limits on carbon pollution.
