News: Mothers and Others Welcomes New Project Managers in North Carolina and Georgia

Mothers and Others is delighted to welcome two new Project Managers to its program:

Deborah Bryan

North Carolina Project Manager

Deborah Bryan has joined Mothers & Others for Clean Air as North Carolina’s Project Manager. Deborah, a North Carolina native, has a long history of service in both the environmental and health community.

Previously, she worked with the American Lung Association in North Carolina where she served in roles from the local to the regional level, most recently as the NC State Executive and Regional VP of Advocacy of the American Lung Association of the Atlantic Coast. She worked with allied agencies and the Dept. of Environment and Natural Resources, as well as then Attorney General Roy Cooper (now Governor) to pass the Clean Smokestacks Act in 2002, resulting in NC having the strongest law on ozone in the U.S. at that time. While at the Lung Association, she received an Excellence in Advocacy national award for achieving the highest level of public policy advocacy. Since that time she has continued her affiliation with both environmental and child advocacy issues. You may contact Deborah at Deborah.Bryan@lungse.org.
