News: M&O Volunteer in EPA’s Video Roll Out of the Clean Power Plan

We are excited and proud to see M&O supporter Laura Kellogg in the The White House ‘s video about the Clean Power Plan‬. Congratulations, Laura and The Kellogg’s Care Asthma Advocacy! You are a wonderful advocate for ‪#‎CleanAir4Kids‬.

Laura Kellogg is a volunteer with Mothers & Others for Clean Air, a program of the American Lung Association in North Carolina and nationally with the Healthy Air Campaign. The Kelloggs have 3 kids with asthma who constantly struggled just to breathe despite excellent medical care – and having a nurse for a mom! On the advice of their pediatrician, they relocated from a very polluted community to one with better air quality. They went from surviving to thriving, and they don’t want to see climate change and pollution take that away. EPA videographer followed the Kellogg family to the beach, to baseball practice, saxophone practice, etc. to show the dramatic difference healthy air can make in the life of kids with asthma and to help underscore the need for the Clean Power Plan to protect their health.
