Georgia Asthma Control Program: GACP is part of a national initiative launched by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Center for Environmental Health (Air Pollution and Respiratory Health Branch). GACP aims to reduce the burden of asthma and improve the health and quality of life among Georgians affected by asthma through effective control of the disease.
Georgia Department of Natural Resources/ Environmental Protection Division: Responsible for protecting Georgia’s air quality through the regulation of emissions from industrial and mobile sources. The Branch also monitors levels of air pollutants throughout the state.
Pediatric Health Improvement Coalition: PHIC’s Mission is to preserve and advance pediatric care in our state by unifying the pediatric provider community and engaging the State and Medicaid CMOs in productive, quality-driven initiatives to raise the standard of care for Georgia’s children.
