Action Alert: Urge EPA to Finalize Vehicle Emission and Fuel Standards Now

Ask your U.S. House Representative to sign-on to Rep. Jan Schakowsky’s letter to EPA supporting cleaner gasoline and vehicles. According to the EPA, the proposed standards would prevent tens of thousands of asthma attacks and nearly 2,500 premature deaths by 2030. These standards would significantly reduce the sulfur content in gasoline and tailpipe emissions – the equivalent of removing 33 million cars off the road.

Call the Capitol switchboard at (202) 224-3121 and ask to speak to your Congressional Representative today! Urge your Representative to contact Brian Laughlin at brian.laughlin@mail.house.gov or 202-225-2111 to sign on-to Rep. Schakowsky’s letter to EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy encouraging finalization of the agency’s Tier 3 Mot or Vehicle Emission and Fuel Standards to protect public health and save lives.
